Absolutely! Flax oil makes an excellent condiment to be used in place of or in conjunction with butter and added to prepared foods hot or cold.

How do I store my Flax Oil?

All flax oils need to be refrigerated after the bottle is open. Only Heart Shape Flax Oil can be stored a room temperature before opening. That’s why Heart Shape is the only flax oil in the olive oil section.

Why do I refrigerate Flax Oil after opening?

Flax oil is mostly omega-3. Omega-3 is extremely reactive (which makes it so nutritious) but that property also makes it prone to spoilage if exposed to air or heat. It is best to refrigerate after opening.
